The artwork Transmitter (J Boogie Remix) - Various - Wide Hive Remixed 10 the bottom left hand corner features several "Japan" playing cards with the faces of group members and a crushed coke can with the word "Japan" instead of "coke".

The album sold reasonably well, but was not a great commercial success on release. It has since been regarded as "an important outing", is included in the book Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, and was re-released in in a three-disc special edition. The title track was included on the soundtrack of the erotic thriller film Sliver.
